Let's take a look at what happened Last Week in Crypto: ➤ Bitcoin Hits 50,000 New Users Per Day BTC Reclaims $33,000 Support As Positive News Trickles In BTC | BITCOIN $33821.24 +2.41%  Bitcoin price showed an uptick on 9th July as on-chain indicators displayed positive activity, among other news. Even as established price models come under pressure, the growth of new users on the blockchain is nearing all-time highs (over 50,000 per day). Furthermore, 17 new whales were birthed on the blockchain and total BTC whale holdings rose 65,500 BTC. In other positive news, Jack Dorsey, CEO of Square and Twitter co-founder, confirmed Square's plans of building a BTC hardware wallet. Jack and hardware lead Jesse Dorogusker announced plans on Twitter, with Jesse tweeting, ''We have decided to build a hardware wallet and service to make bitcoin custody more mainstream.'' Read more here. BTC flipped $33,000 to support and further upside lies beyond major resistance at $35,000. Meanwhile, important support now lies at $32,500 and $30,500. FUN Token Locked and Flexible Savings in Full Swing at Binance FUN | FUN Token $0.015707 +0.17%  In another milestone for FUN, the token got listed on Binance's savings program where users can earn interest on their FUN Token holdings. FUN Token became one of only six coins in the Locked Savings program, joining the likes of BTC, USDT, and LINK. Binance Savings allows users to avail two savings options: 1. Locked Savings where users can lock in FUN Tokens for a specified period of time, accrue interest for that period of time, and then redeem the total amount. Locked Savings afford higher rates of interest. 2. Flexible Savings where users can commit their FUN Tokens and redeem them anytime they want. ETH Hits Three-Week High As London Upgrade Draws Closer ETH | Ethereum $2,096.86 +0.20% AAVE | Aave $298.37 +4.58% ADA | Cardano $1.33 +1.15%  The second-largest crypto by market capitalization hit a three-week high at $2,400 as excitement about the London hard fork builds. The code for the London upgrade was deployed on the third and final testnet Rinkeby last week. The hard fork contains the controversial and highly-anticipated EIP-1559 upgrade. The first block was produced on the Ropsten testnet on 24th June and the hard fork will be deployed on the mainnet at block 12,965,000. This puts the estimated date on the London hard fork at 4th Aug. AAVE Hits Monthly High As Aave Pro Set to Go Live  Aave Pro, Aave's lending protocol for institutions, is set to go live in July. This development helped Aave rally and reach its monthly high at $354. Aave Pro is a permissioned liquidity protocol that would offer institutions access to DeFi. The platform will go live in July with liquidity pools of Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), USD Coin (USDC) and its own token, Aave. Crypto News Weekly Roundup Bank of America Establishes Crypto Research Division  Bank of America, the second-largest bank in the US is reportedly creating a new team devoted to crypto research. This comes after the bank joined the Paxos Settlement Service in May, a service that allows customers to use blockchain tech to settle stock trades. ''Cryptocurrencies and digital assets constitute one of the fastest growing emerging technology ecosystems,'' said Candace Browning, Bank of America's head of global research. ''We are uniquely positioned to provide thought leadership due to our strong industry research analysis, market-leading global payments platform and our blockchain expertise.'' Crypto.com Forms a $175 Million Partnership With UFC  In another sports-related deal for Crypto.com, the trading platform has partnered with UFC, the biggest mixed martial arts organization in the world. This comes after Formula 1 announced a sponsorship agreement with Crypto.com for its Sprint Series last week. As part of the agreement, Crypto.com will be featured on the fight kits and outfits worn by competitors and the training staff. Reportedly, the sponsorship deal is worth $175 million spread over 10 years.
